I would encourage everyone to visit the
Animal Legal Defense Fund and sign their petition to Congress for an
Animal Bill of Rights. I don't think we always grasp the range and depth of what it means to be bringing the good news of the Kingdom of God now, but I think that includes care of creation and all that is in it.
In hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. - Romans 8:18-22
