So, I was looking up the details on how to write myself in and apparently I missed the deadline. According to Delaware's website, "The deadline for candidates to file for office is 12 Noon on the last Friday in July of the year of the General Election."
I guess that means Castle is going to have two years left in D.C. Dang it.

I don't think North Carolina has a write in deadline. Maybe I'll write you in for our school board. Everyone running for that sucks.

Nope. My district was not close enough for me to get to, and the moron who took my registration papers apparently screwed them up, somehow. Either that, or it was a scam to get my SS number. Which wouldn't surprise me at all.
Furthermore, I really didn't know about any of the candidates, and I did not want to make an uneducated vote. That, and Delaware is hopelessly liberal...and yes, I consider Castle liberal. His views towards stem cell research make him a liberal in my book.
