The leaves are not technically "dying" because they are not living oragnisms in and of themselves. The trees are going to sleep.

??? It doesn't matter how many apple-related reasons there are, the point is apples rock and only card-carrying commies don't like good old American Apple Pie. And Apple Cider is freaking awesome. At least Matt and Brianna understand that; they had it at their wedding (and hot, no less! I'm definitely stealing that and having spiced Cider at my wedding!)

Just because football is more exciting, strategic, athletic, and interesting than the sport you like doesn't mean you have to rain on another sport's parade because your season is over. And Eagles fans exist for entertainment. We get to watch all the outrageously stupid things they do, then smile as their team (again) fails to achieve Superbowl fame.

So why do people do them in the summer then? for the same reason: Because it's cool. Fall is awesome because it's way easier to start a fire thanks to the leaves and branches lying around.

Don't be so bitter about it! If you're like this now, do you go hang out on the Delaware Memorial Bridge on Valentine's Day? If you do, we can get in touch and meet there...seeing as how we're in about the same boat, I think :D .

I totally agree with you. Basketball sucks. Who wants to watch a sport where fouling somebody/crying foul is a strategy? That's for wussies.

Thanksgiving is the best holiday of the year, and that's because it's not over-commmercialized tripe like Christmas is. The irony of Jesus' birthday party being it is probably the most stress inducing holiday of the year.

AMEN! I don't want to hear about Christmas until December 15th or so. Christmas isn't even Biblical. It was made to help convert pagans up in Sweden and such (it's on the same day as a big day of celebration for the pagan god Mithras). We should get rid of it.
You also complained about having to wear warm clothes. Man up a little, chief ;) . I like that Fall isn't all hot and gross like Delaware summers usually are, but is nice and dry and cool. But not so cold as to be bitter or miserable (until you start getting into November). I like donning the black leather jacket. Makes me feel more like the swank beast that I am :P .
Food is overrated?!!! You can't come to my party.
I don't live alone. Never the less, I have no intentions of snuggling.

Oh Steve... I wouldn't expect anything less from you in your response. I love the humor and sarcasm! I am one of those Autumn-lovers... not for all the same reasons as others have given though. I'm just so grateful we are done with that freakin' hot/humid weather!!! (Until next summer at least.)
