My hope and intention as I begin this blog is to give a thoughtful, considered response to world events, deep discussions and personal circumstances. I hope it will be encouraging, challenging, informative and edifying to those that read it. I by no means intend to be a self-proclaimed expert, but I do want to share my thoughts in the global marketplace of ideas.
I heard this song for the first time when I was home last week. Brad Paisely cracks me up.
Also, at our weekly meeting on Wednesday, a fellow native West Virginian used the phrase "finer than frog hair." I think a little tear fell from my eye.

"drunk as a bicycle" ex. "Well I was driving home from the rodeo, and this man was walking down the road, he was drunk as a bicycle"
"it's nothing you could shake a stick at" ex. A: How do you like my chili? B: It's nothing you'd shake a stick at...
"feel of me/this/her/him/it" ex. A: I think i have a fever. B: Ok let me feel of you. (hilarious example)
"cats fur to make kittens britches" little girl: Paw-paw why do you do it that way? paw-paw: oh, cats fur to make kittens britches
